Printer prints ?? instead of bullets

Our Canon IR 330-400PCL printer/fax/copier will substitute 2 question marks “??” for bullets on all documents sent from client PCs higher than W98 (2000, XP, etc). We’ve downloaded new drivers, but the problem persists. Any suggestions?
