Printers

I am new to the computer information world so I need some help. I just purchased the program “Desktop Publishe with wizards: Print Perfect Gold” and I am having trouble getting it to print (tent) labels. The fact sheet I have talks about the printer driver software as a possible problem. What is the driver they are talking about? Also what type of printer do I need for this program? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
