Printing from internet

When I try to print something from the net( e.g.Winmag, MicrosoftSupport) with my Epson Color 740 I get the following message:
EPIRP20 caused a divide error in module EPIHTB3N.DLL at 017f:01953417.
The printer is blocked and I have to reboot in order to print something.
I contacted Epson and to my disbelief they answered:
” Epson does not support internet printing due to issues suchas this. Printing from the internet has special issues at times due to the inconsistent format of the coded text, etc,etc.”
That is the first time I heard that a printer cannot print from the net.
Anyone experienced the same???
