Problem with sending fax

I has a problem with sending fax. I use bitware 3 for sending fax. But this program doesn’t complete sending large faxes and cancel sending while fax is sending. My system is pentium II with MS-windows 98. My modem is UMC 28.8K. Also modem properly works in other program like phone dialer.
