Problems adding a printer…

To whom it may concern:
I am trying to add a printer on a user’s machine. He is running Windows NT 4. When you go to start/settings/printers and you double click “add printer,” the following message appears… “This operation could not be completed. The RPC server is unavailable.” I have no idea what that is. Can you please help?
