Problems after upgrading

help.
after upgrading from Win98 to Win2000, i encountered that my PC will just blackout and off by itself.i have tried changing the power supply (230V) but it simply wouldn’t worked.
i’m having 320MB RAM with Pentium 3 processor.
pls advise.
