Problems loading network drivers

I am working with Windows for Work Groups 3.11 and am trying to load network support using Kingston driver KNE120TX and TCP/IP. My computer is not reconizing the hardware and when I boot my computer it gives “Serious internal error” when loading DOS. I have reloaded software several times, including the operating system, the drivers and TCP/IP. I Have even tried a different machine. Any suggestions. When I remove network support, the error is gone.
