To whom it may concern:
I am having some strange problems with a user’s PC. Her machine is unable to run IE 5.0 and Microsoft Outlook ’97 all of a sudden. She dials out and connects to the net fine. (She uses a 56k modem.) As soon as she tries to launch IE 5.0, she receives an error message that doesn’t refer to any file. Also, she can open Outlook, but as soon as you try to check for new messages it receives the same error. I also can’t run a proxy server program on her machine, itreceives the same message. (I use AnalogX Proxy.) The machine serves as a small proxy for one building so now nobody at the building has internet access or mail access. I am totally lost. Please help! (By the way, she’s running Win98) Thanks.
