Problems with Pentium 4 and MS Word 97?

Has anyone experienced a problem with Pentium 4 and MS Word97?

We have just received PC’s with a pentium 4 processors, and have started having crashes within Word 97. This seems to be affecting all of our PC’s with the newer processor. We have reinstalled a few times, and checked out that we have the latest drivers, but still no luck.

The operating system is NT4, and we have Office97 SR2 installed.

Any help would be gratefully received.
