Registry or system.ini

I deleted a couple programs which I do not remember. Now each time I start my laptop, I get this message;
“Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run windows or a windows application. The windows registry or system.ini file refers to this device file, but the device file no longer exists.

c:\progr~1\carbon~1\ccw32.vxd”

I have tried editing my system.ini to remove this line but can’t see it when I go to run sysedit. How can I remove it from my system?
