Reinstalling OS

A user gave me a Compaq Armada 7800 that is running NT 4.0. I want to wipe the machine clean of any data and reinstall everything. I need to know what drivers are needed to get the machine up and running after installing the OS. Examples, modem, audio, display, etc.

Unless there is an easier way to clean out the hard drive without reinstalling the OS?
