reset on bootup

by murray_g . Updated 25 years, 10 months ago

Since 8-3-00 I have been having a problem that is very odd. I was forced to restrt my PC due to a lock or something and when the WINDOWS 95 restarted it reset the following: MSIE5 settings, DUN settings, MS Office (WORD,EXCEL, ACCESS, POWERPOINT) and I got the splash screen for a new window “Your are starting window95 for the first time….” or something like that. Thank g-d my modem settings, and most other settings weren’t wiped out. At this time I am running my PC 24/7 with fear to reboot on the grounds I will have to reset my IE settings plus. Any help is greatly appreciated with a CC: to me at murray.greenberger@americareny.com

Thanks
