Scheduled print jobs

We have created a scheduled process to update our database then it will generate a valid and invalid records processed.
The process of updating the database works fine but it does not print anything.
We have checked the printing connections.
Do we have to set something else because when we issue the mode /status to find the config of the printer, it displays “printer is not rerouted”?
