SCSI Problem

Hi, my name is kalvyn. I have a Adaptec 2940U2W Card, and with a 68-Pin Ultra2 SCSI Cable and a 68-Pin to 80-Pin Adapter and a Cheetah ST39102LC 9.1GB Hard Drive 10K RPM (80-Pin)… The problem is that the drive couldn’t be Detect in the 68Pin Ultra2 Connector so I tried the 68Pin Wide Ultra Connector and it finally Worked 🙂 But I don’t know why ???
But now, everytime I try to install an operating system (win2k or XP) it always crashes on me at the begining of Seting Up Windows screen…

Any help would be Greatly Appreciated…
