Second HD, drive letters are a “no show”

I bought a 2nd, larger HD for the purpose of transferring the info from the 1st, smaller HD to it. The 1st HD is partitioned via Partition Magic. I partitioned the 2nd HD, which PM staff said was done correctly. However, only 1 drive letter shows upin Explorer for the 2nd HD. The support tech didn’t know the solution. How do I get the others to show up? What are the sequential steps follow to install Windows on the 2nd HD, changing the jumpers, etc.?
