shutdown problem with new graphic card..

i bought a Nvidia Geforce 2 MX400 graphic card and install it into my Duron 700 PC.
Whenever i shutdown my Windows ME system, the screen goes blank, and the system keep on running. My old graphic will just shut down the whole system.
Help is needed.
