Simple IE Questions,@ least it should be

I have IE 5.5 and was wondering how to clear the history in the address bar up top. I can go to start-settings-taskbar and start menu and clear out the history there, and I tried to go under the windows subdirectory and then clear out thetemporary internet files. It does clear out the history, but how do you clear out the cached information of places you’ve been? For instance, even though I cleared out the history and the temporary internet files, I can still start typing www.cy and it comes up with www.cybersportsbook.com. Whoever used the computer before me, used these sites and then cleared the history, but they still come up in the cache. Is there any way to clear these entries out of the cached information?
