Slow access to D: drive

HI, I have a very weird problem. When my laptop is wired to the network, I can access the D: drive normally with the “open file” dialog box of programs like word, Excel… But when I logon locally on the laptop (disconnected from network) I try to access my D: drive from a “Open file” dialog box but it takes about 2 minutes to see the content of my D: to appears. It looks like he is looking for the network for a while and finally time out. I’ve never seen this problem before. I would appreciatethat someone could help me.
