socket 7 conspiracy?

i have seen 2 of the same problems, symptoms,etc., in two almost identical pc’s. both have super socket 7 mobo’s, AMD 500 mhz, displays AGP. one tyan, one ( forgot?). anyway both were great running on the networks attached to with no warning signs. poof! no boot, bios cannot be accessed, ive tried all types of trouble shooting.there are no one pumping out the s-s-7 mobo’s ,anybody see the conspiracy,any feed back woul be helpful.
