sound

hello. i just recently formated my harddrive but i cannot, for the life of me, get my sound installed. so i’m thinking that maybe i’m not installing it right cause i still can’t get any sound on my system.

can someone please give me the steps to installing the sound back on a computer. mind you i’m not a computer expert but i am trying the best that i can to get this problem solved. anyones’ help sure would be appreciated. thanx. 🙂
