Sound card drivers

I just installed a program called On Stage so I can play a virtual guitar on my computer. While loading I recieved a warning that my sound card was not 100% DirectSound compatible and that I should update my driver. My sound card is a Creative Labs Sounds 1373 with 128 voice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
