Spellcheck in Form Fields

Using Microsoft Word 97, SR-2 (I know. Boo-hiss.)

I created a form for a group to use. It’s locked to take advantage of the form capapbility. However, the text that’s entered in the form fields isn’t checked for spelling errors. Spelling is grayed out in the Tools menu.

How can you use the form fields AND have the information within them spell-checked?
