SQL Server with Exchange Server

I’m a newby…I work for a small community mental health agency. We are running two servers right now, for about 125 users. One server runs our billing and accounting software and the other runs MS Exchange Server. We are thinking of running SQL Server (25 licenses) on the Exchange Server computer. Would this be OK in the short term? Does anyone have any advice?
