Stack Dumps and Invalid Page Faults

I’m getting error dialogue boxes frequently now, when going from the net back to my inbox, or from site to site. Running Win98SE, IE 5.5, with all current updates. Gateway 450mhz, 64mb RAM. This occurs when I’m closing out, using the “X” next to maximize and minimize. Any ideas as to why?
