We have a primary Windows NT server and about 100 users running desktops & laptops with Windows 95. Multiple users are reporting error messages and crashes when they print spreadsheets in Excel. Doesn’t seem to matter whether it’s a large spreadsheet or a small one. Average RAM on each PC is anywhere from 32 to 64MB. They are all Pentiums, minimum 133MHz, some 266MHz. We are running MS Excel 97 SR-2. They get Illegal Operation messages when they try to print and system must be rebooted. Some messages show Invalid Page Fault in module kernel32.dll. We have reimaged a few of the computers and problem goes away temporarily, then returns. Deleting temp files helps with some machines but not all. We have reinstalled the printer driver on both the server and the desktops. Problem persists at random, some days worse than others. Any ideas for a fix?
