SYSTEM RESTORE

Well here I go again… when the twain drives on my computer can’t be found by the scanner or computer, I decided to do a system restore… Well the system restore on the 56 K 95/98/ME
the restore onlyu goes half way and shuts down, comes back on and says nothing has been changed on the system restore…so I tried another date and the same thing happens,,, What is wrong and can I fix it.. Thanks Trish
