tables in web pages

i am trying to get a table into a web page of name, address, email address, passwords, etc an dthen to submit it to go through to a certain web site.
From this web site additional information can be downloaded to clients for a fee of course.
this site has to be secure.
Does anybody out there know how to do this.
This is for an assignment at college, even the tutors can not help me with this one as I think there is an underlying code to be attached to the tables.
As I am a mature student (mid 50’s) and new to computers please reply in simple language thanks
