Testing/startup on a trashed Intevia PC

I am trying to build a computer from used parts. This intevia I have will startup to windows and then just sits, I used win98 startupdisk to see what would occur, then I get a memory test fail. I thinks the ramdrvspace file is corrupt, how can I fixthis problem first?

I also ran into a problem that it has a mind of ist own and will not either reboot from pushing the button or turn off when pushing the main button.
