TIFF me baby

I need to display images from a database. The data is displayed with IE 4.0 on W98. Unfortunatly the graphic images are TIFF, PDF and PDS (Photoshop) as well as JPEG and GIF.

What is the best (and or cheapest)route to fixing the problem? Browserplugins to display the images or linking the file types to an external viewer application?
