Toshiba Laptop won’t boot

I have a clients’ Toshiba Sattelite Laptop and although the case looks like it has been sat on or had something heavy placed on it and cracked it, inside there is no apparent damage to the circuit boards. When it is turned on, the screen just goes from black to a very dark green colour, no dos prompts, no bios information either. I have reason to believe it has windows installed on it.
Oh and no post beeps of any kind, just the one beep as it attempts to boot.
Any ideas out there?
