Transfer data old system to new 95/98

Hi,
I have a couple of customers who have new systems. One is running W/95 and the new computer has W/98. What is the easiest way to transfer data, just selected data no operating system mostly files and applications. Would installing old 95 hdd asslave and then copying onto new 98,I have a 250 zip usb but the customers old may not have usb. Is Norton Ghost the answer for this transfer.
The second customers situation is much the same.
