Unable to connect to online servers.

Dear Sirs, I can get online, all the browser protocols are correct but I cannot connect to any online server, mail, DNS, nothing. While online the ipconfig command shows an error which indicates I am not connecting to a DNS server. Any help would begreatly apprecitated…Thank you for your time.
