Unreadable Fonts in Network Neighborhood

I am saving documents from one computer to another via network neighborhood on my intranet. The computer that I’m trying to save from (In PowerPoint) does not allow me to see the names of the computers in network neighborhood. When I open, I see “garbage” – little boxes similar to when a font can’t be desplayed because of size. Please help!!!!
