Upgrade Processor

I am thinking of upgrading my personal computer, I?m currently running on a Pentium 2 400 Mhz. What is the fastest processor that I can upgrade that too? Also I am involved in a lot of Auto CAD design, and I was wondering the possibility of connecting two monitors to my system, how would I go about that and what type of card would I need??
