We have a laptop that does not have network access and we would like to image the non-partitioned hard disk drive (HDD) and place that image on a 20GB USB External HDD. The HDD is over 4GB with only 350 MB free space. The laptop uses the Microsoft Windows 2000 FAT 32 platform. We cannot open the laptop because it will void the warranty. Tech Support for the laptop wants us to rebuild the PC to try to fix the NIC problem but we do not want until we image the HDD. Is there a way to enable USBsupport using MS-DOS 6.X or some other version of MS-DOS that will allow us to use the HDD imaging software called Ghost (Version 5.1d)?
