Video Trouble

A client uninstalled Macromedia Shockwave from her machine using Settins>Control Panel>Add Remove Programs. (I went to Macromedia website and they have an Uninstall program you must download and they also offered no help with my questions.) Now the computer boots with 1 long 2 short beeps. Has anyone ever had this problem? Do you think the uninstall could have corrupted the video card? All the other hardware works fine. I have hooked it up to 2 different monitors. Thanks for any help. I feel the only choice I have is a new video card.
