Everytime I boot my computer it tries to go to www.freeweb.com and open through outlook. I e-mailed the site and this is what they said,

You have been infected by one of our users. We have removed the user and as a result youare being directed to our “not found” page. Please see:

Now, I have done that, ran the symantec virus online scan (saw nothing), but the page still comes up and I am not sure there still isn’t a virus. Norton Antivirus (all versions) have been good but I don’t understand this virus. Also, I now have a bar on the left of my main screen that shows Folder Tasks, Other Places, and Details. I can’t get rid of it or the unknown page that comes up. Can anyone help?
