VOIP Load on Recieving G3 Switch.

We are thinking of going to VOIP in one building to test the results.

The one question that no one seems to be able to answer is:
When the “gateway” sends the packetized information to our Lucent G3 switch, the switch will integrate itinto standard phone calls and route them accordingly. How can we measure the load placed on the Switch by these additional calls? Is there a formula that will tell us min/max limits that we could add?

Many of our preliminary decisions need to bebased on the above limits being known and to date even Lucent will not tell us without a “consultation”.

If you can either answer the question or suggest other options I would be gratefull.
