I have a Win 2K server with VPN setup. I am able to connect to that server from home and look at files on the HD. Behind the server W2K server (VPN Server) is a Win NT 4.0 machine. This machine is a PDC. The W2K machine is not a PDC or BDC. W2Kmachine is on the same subnet with a static IP address. When I am in my office – I see that the W2K server sees the Win NT server, etc. No problems. When I am at home I have access to the W2K server (VPN server) and I can ping the Win NT server. But I am unable to gain access to the Win NT server. Win NT server does not show up in network neighborhood. When I search for computer, it is still not found. At home I have my VPN client setup on the same IP scheme, in the same subnet as my office. The work Gorup name is the name of my Domain.
Why is it that I gain acces to my VPN server but I am unable to see anything beyond it?
I did make a change to the registry: IPFORWARDING to 1. This seems to not have made any difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
