W2000 cant see files in winnt CD folders

WinNT computer upgraded to W2000.
File_Explorer can’t see files on winNT CD
under folders. Yet, if put CD on WinNT computer
it lists all files under folders. Files are
excel worksheets.

It appears that W2000 sees winnt folders on CD
as a single empty files.
