Web Browser wont respond

I have recently had a virus on my PC. I restored all the files and cleaned the computer of the virus. I am subscribed to AOL and have microsoft innernet explorer version 6. When i log on to AOL and type in a web address or search for a topic the window I get back says either webste not responding or web address error. So basicly my AOL is usless cos i cant access any web sites at all. Please help. Thanx…….
