What to do about PCI bridges\controllers

I have run fdisk to get rid of old information on our computers before we reuse them and when I reinstall Windows 98 I can’t get the pci bridges or controllers to work correctly. I have tried installing drivers and that doesn’t seem to work either. Any suggestions?
