Whats the difference between Sun Servers

My question is sun has work stations, work groups and enterprise servers. I have looked a some of the specs and sparq 10 has more resources than some of the work group servers and enterprise servers. So what is the difference if not pure horse powerthe number of users licensed to the server or what. Thank you for any information on this.
