First let me say I think any manufacturer that is so embarrassed by it’s product that they don’t put their name on it should be hung.
Now then, down to business. I have a Slot 1 mobo that is slower than a good 486. I set it up with a Celeron 300A and an 8MB DIMM to make sure it works. Installed W-95B on the HD and this thing crawls. It really is much slower than a Dell 486 that I upgraded with a DX4/100 and 12MB of RAM running W-95B. I was given this slot 1 mobo with no documentation or anything. I have a shareware program that says it’s a PC Chips board but PC Chips has nothing on it’s web site that even looks close to this board. There is no FCC ID on it. HOW DO I IDENTIFY THIS BOARD?
