Okay, In terms of storage we have come a long way from 7 inch floppies to 5 inch floppies and now 3in ch floppies. Sure there are lots of new magnetic media like Zip, Jazz,120mb optical discs CDR’s and CDRW’s. One thing that puzzles me is why we have the technology to produce CDR’s but not harness the media like Mini-Discs which can hold 74mins of Audio on a small disc as well. MD’s are really cheap as well and they can be re-burnt up to a million times with no loss of quality and since you have a permanent case around the disc, you don’t haveta worry about scratching. and the size makes it really portable too. If some companies that developes CDR/W could come up with a solution that runs off normal MD’s for PC storage, that would be reallt great!
