Win 98 long pause before GUI

I have a machine that seems to load its’ startup files fine, however, it pauses on the clouded Windows 98 screen for about 4 mins. before it gets into the OS. I went through the Step by Step confirmation and everything seemed to load fine. The machine just started doing this (within the last week) and nothing new was loaded to it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
