Win2k – Processor driver

I’ve added a new Intel processor in a Compaq Proliant server. Bios has accepted both processors, but when i changed driver from 1 uniprocessor-driver to a compaq-multiprocessor driver in Win2k, everything hangs after restart. So, anyone know how I can change a processor-driver without reinstalling Win2k?
