win2k re-install problem

I have two instances of windows 2000 loaded on my machine ( on the same primary partition )My current Win 2000 is giving me problems and i want to re-install it by reformatting the hard drive. But there is no FDISK command in win 2000 and i cant usethe format command either!
Can any one give me step-by-step procedure including commands.
