win95 will not completely boot?????????

when i start up it goes into sacndisk and defrag, then freezes. have been able to get it to f5, but cann’t find any changes. keep getting missing nwnblink.vxd and error message of 0028:cofefcad in vxd.vtd(01)+000000a1
called for 0028:00pefd91 in vxd-vtd(01)+000000185.then it closes thenreboots to scandisk, defrg,then starts all over again???????? help, i don’t want to do a reload if i can help it.

can anyone tell me how to fix or what went wrong????????????
