Win98 errors on startup

During a recent install of a replacement hard drive to a pentium machine, opon rebooting the system for “starting windows 98 for the first time” a power failure occured due to lightening. After the power came back on, the system came up but with errors. The system is looking for 2 files, dfs.vxd and msdn32.dll. Where do I find these files, and what directory do they go in?
